At Koo Wee Rup Primary School we pride ourselves on student engagement and involvement in the school community. Student Voice is our group of student representatives that is made up of our School Leaders, House Captains and a representative from each class. Student Voice hold meetings fortnightly and at these meetings they discuss what fundraisers, sport activities and fun things they can do at school. They are involved in establishing initiatives in our school, improving outside learning spaces, running programs, fundraising, looking after our chickens and participating in visits to local community clubs. Student Voice representatives are passionate and motivated to work together for our school. It is their own motivation that drives the ‘how’ and ‘what’ that Student Voice becomes involved in.
The Student Voice Team take pride in their roles and are always helping the school get bigger and better. It allows student leadership to grow at all year levels.
